01/ Why do rates increase?

There are two factors that can explain the increase in prices (outside of the act of purchase): Cegid’s investments in maintaining, improving and creating management solutions and related services, and the economic context of each country.

These investments are all the more essential in a context of technological revolution linked to generative AI, to continue to ensure a state-of-the-art, high-performance and secure cloud foundation for all our business applications, and to offer you the highest guaranteed availability, anywhere in the world.

Our Human Resources

Our activities require highly qualified professionals. This situation is made even more complex by the transformation of our business lines in line with the emergence of generative AI. As a result, we regularly have to bring our remuneration packages into line with the market.

What's more, we invest every year in training to ensure that they maintain their level of expertise in line with the extremely rapid changes taking place in the sector.


02/ How are the prices reviewed?

Support products and services

To cover our investments, we must adjust your monthly fees in accordance with the general terms and conditions of use of our services.

You are in the initial commitment period*

Monthly fees are subject to an increase limit of 8% for SaaS products and for services ordered and not yet consumed and invoiced.

Beyond* or for maintenance activities

The increase % varies by activity and product. Increases are generally implemented at the beginning of the year.

Please note: we reserve the right to make a second increase during the year (up to a maximum increase of 8% for the year for the two increases combined) if exceptional circumstances so require, such as in the current context of high inflation.

* Excluding any specific clause that may apply (such as clauses negotiated under a framework agreement).

Concrete example

In 2022, company X paid a monthly fee of €100.80 for the use of its product and services.

On 1 January 2023, an annual revision of 5% was applied to a product line under its contract:

€100.80 x 1.05 = €105.84. We rounded up to the next decimal place, so €105.90.

In 2024, company X’s monthly invoice is now €105.90.

04/ FAQs

When and how am I informed of increases?

Annual revisions are applied in January or on the anniversary date of your contract. You are therefore informed when your invoice is issued and when your contract is signed in advance.


Can I refuse these increases?

Annual revisions are contractual as indicated in the terms and conditions of use of our services. It is therefore not possible to refuse them unless the contract is terminated.

Do these increases apply in countries other than France?

Yes, we apply annual reviews in the different countries in which we operate. They result simultaneously from the regulations in force in these countries and the general terms and conditions of sale of our subsidiary, if the contract has been issued locally. If the contract was signed under Cegid SAS for a company located abroad, the applicable rules are those mentioned above.


What GTCs apply to my contract?

Our general terms and conditions of sale are subject to regular changes to adjust not only to the latest regulatory, legislative and technical changes but also to changes in our products and services. The date of the last update is indicated on the document. You can consult them, at any time, on our website at https://www.cegid.com/en/terms-and-conditions/ The latest published version automatically applies to your policy (for all policies taken out or modified after 2019).
